Thomas Dickson, a Junior who is majoring in Mathematics at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY, was honored by the Mathematics Department at an end-of-the-year awards dinner on May 6, 2014.

Thomas, a member of Hofstra's Class of 2015, is from Merrick, NY. Thomas was named a recipient of the Mathematic Department's Ed Ostling Award for Excellence in Mathematics.
