Tami Longjohn of Hempstead, NY, presented an original research project entitled "Auto-Oscillatory/Excitable Limit & Heterodyning Of The Belousov-Zhabotinsky Reaction " during Hofstra University's annual Undergraduate Research Day.

Longjohn is majoring in Geology, and graduates in May 2014.

Undergraduate Research Day is a culmination of months of advanced study, preparation, and revision by the University's brightest minds, who present senior projects in subjects ranging from biology and drama to geology, film studies, and business.
