Samantha Hill of Old Saybrook Honored by the Sociology Dept. for Academic Achievement

In May 2014 Hofstra University's Sociology Department honored high achieving students at its annual end of year awards ceremony. Samantha Hill of Old Saybrook, NY, a Sociology major, was inducted into Hofstra's chapter of Alpha Kappa Delta. Alpha Kappa Delta is the international sociology honor society.

Hofstra's Department of Sociology Department offers majors and minors in sociology and criminology.
