Lea Hinnen of Hempstead Honored by the Sociology Dept. for Academic Achievement

In May 2014 Hofstra University's Sociology Department honored high achieving students at its annual end of year awards ceremony. Lea Hinnen of Hempstead, NY, a Sociology major, was named a Natalie I. Allon Scholar. This scholarship is awarded to qualified, deserving undergraduate students studying Sociology.

Hofstra's Department of Sociology Department offers majors and minors in sociology and criminology.
