Hofstra Student Amanda Lastella of Oceanside Receives Phi Beta Kappa Book Award

Amanda Lastella of Oceanside, NY, is one of eight Hofstra University students honored at the Phi Beta Kappa Book (PBK) Awards, sponsored by the Provost's office and the Hofstra University Bookstore. Hofstra's Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, one of only 283 in the nation, honors a small number of promising sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have attained a 4.0 GPA while taking a broad and rigorous coursework in the liberal arts and sciences.

Amanda, a member of Hofstra's class of 2020, is majoring in Fine Arts.
