Hofstra Senior Anthony Arfi of Westhampton Named Student of the Year

Hofstra University senior Anthony Arfi, of Westhampton, NY, was named the Student of the Year in Film Production by the Lawrence Herbert School of Communication.

Students of the Year are chosen by professors in their discipline on the basis of academic standing as well as demonstrated drive, leadership, and commitment to their field of study through internships, extra-curricular activities, and community involvement.

About ten students are chosen annually to represent different communication majors, including journalism, radio production, film studies, rhetoric, public relations, video/television, and media studies.
