Drake Landry, a Sophomore who is majoring in Mathematics (Actuarial Science) at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY, was honored by the Mathematics Department at an end-of-the-year awards dinner on May 6, 2014.

Drake, a member of Hofstra's Class of 2016, is from Sacramento, CA. Drake was named a recipient of the Mathematic Department's Freshman/Sophomore Award, which recognizes outstanding mathematics students in their first or second year of college.
